South End of siding
This was a typical US&S dual aspect signal that is found in most locations on the former Seaboard Air Line Columbia Subdivision. This signal is the northbound home signal for the north end of Dixiana siding on CSX's Columbia Subdivision on the S-Line and was replaced in February 2018 approximately.

Eugene Cain General "Signalled Sidings" had 3 Signal Heads and were a little bit taller. The EC line through Charleston had one Signalled Siding...all the rest were just like this one. South of Savannah, there were numerous Signalled Sidings as well as these. Weird you don't see too many of the "Tall" Signals here but there were 4 sets in Savannah at one time. One remains today and is still in use at Blossum jct. 10/10/2012 12:20:37 PM
Carter Buchanan General Did you work for SAL or SCL? Interesting info about the EC line. I really would love to see more stuff on that particular line since it seemed overlooked back in the day. I like finding old SAL info and pics. 5/16/2013 4:15:44 AM
