Description:  No 1702 crosses the thru truss bridge just west of Ela, NC. According to the book "Passage Through Time" by Micheal George and Frank Strack, this bridge was constructed in 1900 with a total of 652.5 feet in length.

Description:  1702 Passing through a residents front lawn and private crossing at milepost T-91.5 things are not so pretty 2/10s of a mile here as a land owner, upset with GSMRR for claiming their ROW, took it at liberty to pile up junk cars from his junkyard as high as he possibly could to block out the view.....oh well, some people have no respect for the beauty they are blessed to live in.
