East side Haywood signal bridge being lowered
Title:  East side Haywood signal bridge being lowered

A last look at the Crosswell signal bridge southbound
Title:  A last look at the Crosswell signal bridge southbound
Description:  The new signals at Crosswell have already been cut into service. Construction crews have completed work at the control point at Haywood in Easley, SC and are enroute to remove this structure next. With other things I needed to do, I didn't watch destruction of this signal bridge and it was way beyond hot.

It sure looks different now
Title:  It sure looks different now
Description:  Looking northbound, I sure miss the old signal cantilever. These signals are harder to view trackside now as well due to the hooded signals.

Another perspective looking northbound at Haywood
Title:  Another perspective looking northbound at Haywood
Description:  With no one on the signal cantilever now, a plain view of a otherwise blah style signal. A shame there was no way just to keep using the old more stout looking structures. Maybe this thing is stronger than it looks.
